Our Team

Greene County Habitat for Humanity is operated by a team of volunteers and paid staff, working together to accomplish our goals.

The Board of Directors establishes policies and priorities and helps develop the resources needed to accomplish established objectives to carry out our mission. It consists of more than a dozen volunteers, members of the Greene County community, drawn from leading individuals employed by local companies and retired members of the community with a wide variety of expertise. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, eight volunteer committees carry out the tasks needed to meet annual objectives, from raising the necessary funds, to constructing our homes, to selecting the families who will purchase those homes. Volunteer



Our staff, led by our Executive Director, carry out the day-to-day activities of the organization, not the least of which is operating the ReStore, whose sales provide a large portion of the funds needed. Reporting to Executive Director, The ReStore Manager, Jessica Newberry, directs the efforts of the store employees and coordinates the large number of volunteers who pick up ReStore donations, prepare items for sale, and help store customers in making their purchases.
